I'll be honest... I don't have a bad feeling. I just kinda have NO feeling.

We're in no man's land talent wise.

We're in no man's land draft wise.

And unfortunately, I feel like we're kinda in no man's land coaching wise. That's not to say I think Wilks will be a bad coach. I just don't know WHAT kind of coach he'll be.

This team is stuck in sports purgatory and it has been for the last two years going into this one.

Just a big ball of meh.

I said something similar on a different thread. Like you Cheese, I have really no feeling just that "Meh oh well whatever happens I guess". I'm always eager to see what they do but I am not expecting anything this year and am not even that excited to be honest. Because of the last few seasons I have no expectations in this team, I am more in that wait and see frame of mind and even then , like you said, it's more of a "Meh"

It took this team one season to turn into the Titans.

I agree with all above, yet I enjoy the process.....yes, I am weird.

The purgatory this team is in, is not 100% on the GM and front office. There has been some piss poor luck with some players, and that is a very fair statement to make.

No, it doesn't absolve moves like drafting a player like Reddick in the 1st round, or constantly trying to find a CB2 with a quantity over quality approach, but there have been injuries and poor behavior that has hamstrung a lot of young promising talent.

Now, that all being said. Such is life in the NFL, and what are the Cardinals going to do about it going forward. That is where the rubber will meet the road.

I just want SK to stick to a plan build this team into a solid contender.I understand it might take a year or maybe 2.But do it right and enough quick fixes.I know you have to have some veteran players to stabilize and lead for your roster but look ahead farther than the end of your nose.Every pick doesn`t have to be a star, just a solid contributor .If its a QBOF in RD 2-3 then do it and stick with a plan.

The Cardinals are clearly in a rebuild mode this year. A new HC with a new Defense and Offense to install. There are going to be growing pains this year.

With so many holes to fill I'm not concerned about what position the Cardinals take in the first round. I just want them to draft someone who will be an impact player for years to come.

indeed

with BA -- you knew what the teams identity was -- "no risk it, no biscuit!" You knew what kind of player they were looking for

Wilks? no idea. Slogan?

#15? High enough that thoughts of grabbing a QB aren't pipe dreams -- but not high enough to really be actionable

finally: ill add this -- nothing is more effective at sucking the emotion around who a team picks and were than going back 5 /6/ 7 years and looking at the drafts. Nobody really knows how these guys will turn out --proven year after year.

I just have a hard time now getting emotionally invested in if Player A is a good pick at #15 vs Player B.
