Doug Gottlieb jumped into the fire when he accepted the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay's head coaching job a couple of seasons ago, and is now being rewarded for his patience and career pivot.

The former Oklahoma State guard and sports media personality has received a contract extension from the program that runs through the 2030-2031 campaign.

This news comes on the heels of Green Bay's athletic director Josh Moon also receiving a contract extension that takes him through 2031.

Gottlieb didn't get off to the best start with the program in his first year, going 4-28 in the 2024-2025 campaign.

Things improved dramatically in year two though, as the program finished 18-15. It was only their second above .500 finish in the last six seasons.
