Dom Fairbanks shines, but can't lift Beavers past Minnesota State

Jan. 17—MANKATO — Dom Fairbanks sank seven 3-pointers against Minnesota State Saturday afternoon, but it unfortunately wasn't enough to beat the Mavericks.

MSU took a 98-83 victory over the Beavers in Mankato on the back of a stellar 58% field goal percentage.

Fairbanks' seven threes contributed to his team-high 21 points. He helped his teammates score, getting a team high eight assists. Henry Shannon III trailed behind him with 14 points.

He and Austin Josephson picked up five rebounds, leading the team.
