The Miami Dolphins have some big roster questions to address, but the defensive line is certainly not the worst of the team's worries. While veteran Chop Robinson could lead the group and has drawn the praise of head coach Jeff Hafley, there are other budding veterans to consider for a breakout year.

That said, here is a look at the Dolphins defensive line ahead of training camp.

Dolphins Defensive Linemen on the Roster

Chop Robinson

Robinson experienced a solid rookie season in 2024, bringing in six sacks en route to a Defensive Rookie of the Year nomination. However, the 2025 season was vastly different.

The young edge rusher only started in three games, while picking up four sacks. Robinson lost something along the way, but he should be poised for a breakout, especially after Hafley indicated as such during OTAs and minicamp.

Kenneth Grant

Kenneth Grant appeared in all 17 games, with five starts, and turned that into two sacks and 33 total tackles. Heading into his second year, there is a strong belief that he may be on the rise even more.

Zach Sieler

Zach Sieler remains a consummate pro and a player who not only commands respect but is one of the older players on this Dolphins roster. Through seven years in South Florida, he has secured 35.5 sacks, including hitting double digits in both 2023 and 2024.

With a defensive-minded head coach taking over the show, Sieler will be the kind of veteran who Hafley leans on to get that side of the ball into shape.

Josh Uche

Josh Uche is a fellow veteran, but one who has not quite shown consistency in terms of being an all-around strong pass rusher. After an 11.5 sack year in 2022, injuries and more have hampered his career.

Jordan Phillips

Jordan Phillips is another young lineman who can push for a starting role in 2026. He brought in 34 total tackles during his rookie season and has slimmed down to be more agile.

Zeek Biggers

Zeek Biggers only appeared in nine games during his rookie outing, but he turned that into 1.5 sacks and 20 total tackles. Expect him to push the other linemen around him to get better or he may be in line for a starting job in 2026.

David Ojabo

David Ojabo is another veteran, similar to Uche, who has not had the best success in the NFL. After spending his career with the Baltimore Ravens, a change of scenery could lead to a bigger season.

Max Llewelyn

Max Llewelyn is the lone edge player taken by the Dolphins. After being drafted in the seventh-round, he is a developmental prospect who could carve out a role on the 53-man roster, but he will need to outwork his veteran counterparts.

Additional backups:

Robert Beal Jr.

Rodney McGraw

Matthew Butler

Seth Coleman

Keith Cooper Jr.

Cameron Goode

Alex Huntley

Rene Konga

Mason Reiger

Khalil Saunders

Biggest Defensive Line Questions

Will the youth movemen on the line pay off?

There are a ton of rookies and second-year players who are expected to take a leap or make an impact in 2026. There may not be the space for Biggers, Grant, and all to get viable playing time, which could hamper their development.

Is Robinson enough on the pass rush side of things?

Robinson may need to truly break out to lead this pass rush, which includes reclamation veterans that have not carved out a significant role in thie NFL just yet.
