A few hours into the legal tampering period on Monday, the Miami Dolphins had only lost one player, as punter Jake Bailey agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
However, later in the afternoon, the Dolphins lost another, as offensive tackle Larry Borom agreed to a contract with the Detroit Lions, according to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Borom, 26, spent his first four seasons with the Chicago Bears before signing with Miami last March. Although he was expected to be a backup, the former fifth-round pick went on to play in 16 games and started 11 for the Dolphins.
With Kendall Lamm also set to be a free agent, Miami doesn't have much depth behind starting tackles Patrick Paul and Austin Jackson.
