Does Jutta Leerdam race today? Speed skating schedule arrives for Netherlands star, Jake Paul's fiancee originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.

Jutta Leerdam already did what she came to the 2026 Winter Olympics to do.

The speed skating star from the Netherlands is a gold medalist, having won her best race, the 1000 meters, in an Olympic record time.

But she'll be back on the track for more in the 500 meters. It's not her top event, but she's still one of the best in the world at it.

Does Jutta Leerdam race today?

Yes, Leerdam is back in action on Sunday, Feb. 15.

She's competing in the 1000-meter speed skating competition. It'll be her final action of these Games.

The action gets underway at about 11 a.m. ET (5 p.m. local time in Italy).

Leerdam is in the 11th heat out of 15, so she won't race right away.

She isn't considered the favorite here. Her Dutch teammate Femke Kok is in the final pairing of the day.

United States flag bearer Erin Jackson is also expected to contend for the gold medal in this race.

The 500 meters on the regular (not short) speed skating track operates like the 1000 meters that Leerdam already won, with a pair of skaters going against one another in each heat, and the time being what matters in the end.

Leerdam already climbed to the top of the podium once. Maybe that'll be the momentum she needs to do it again.
