Jutta Leerdam already got what she came to the Olympics for.

The Netherlands speed skating star is officially the gold medalist in the 1000-meter women's competition, having claimed first place with an Olympic record time on Monday.

She was already a well-known competitor, having more than five million followers on Instagram and being engaged to the influencer and boxer Jake Paul.

Leerdam won silver in the 1000 at the 2022 Olympics, so this was her chance to take the final leap, and she did it with an impressive race.

It was clear how much it meant to her, with major tears and emotion throughout her post-race celebration.

After that, though, Leerdam isn't done. She has more racing to do.
