The Los Angeles Dodgers blew a three-run lead in the ninth inning against the Colorado Rockies but still managed to pull out a win in their first extra-inning game of the season and reach 60 wins in the process.

The key to the Dodgers’ success was Dalton Rushing, both for his walk-off hit in the 11th inning and a key tag in the ninth inning.

With two out in the top of the ninth inning, Rockies center fielder Cole Carrigg blasted a bases-loaded double off of Dodgers pitcher Tanner Scott.

Tanner Scott just blew the Dodgers 6-3 lead in the top of the 9th inning.

The Rockies have now tied LA 6-6.

Fortunately for the Dodgers, center fielder Andy Pages fielded the ball off the wall, and one Miguel Rojas relay later, Dalton Rushing managed to tag out his Rockies counterpart Hunter Goodman in a close play at home.

Despite an initial call of safe that would’ve given the Rockies a 7-6 lead, Goodman was called out upon review, and the inning ended in a tie.

Despite that silver lining, it came after Scott gave up three ninth-inning runs.

Before Monday night, he hadn’t given up a run since June 9.

Two innings later, Rushing got a walk-off single, knocking in Teoscar Hernandez despite breaking his bat.

He added a pair of doubles earlier in the game.

Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in the third inning, marking his 19th on the season, and a two-RBI single the following inning.

Max Muncy and Miguel Rojas knocked in an additional run each.

Who pitched for the Dodgers?

Eric Lauer should have gotten the win on the mound with three runs allowed, all earned, in six innings.

His 99-pitch performance instead leaves his record at 4-5.

What’s next for the Dodgers?

The Dodgers (60-32) and Rockies (37-55) will face off again Tuesday at 7:10 p.m. PT.

Justin Wrobleski (10-2, 2.80 ERA) is on the mound for the Dodgers.

The Rockies are starting Michael Lorenzen (3-9, 6.91 ERA).
