Friday is the final day of July, and the official dog days of August start with the Dodgers hosting the Boston Red Sox on Saturday night at Dodger Stadium.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto has lasted at least six innings in each of his last eight starts. This will be his first career start against the Red Sox. Left-hander Peyton Tolle starts for Boston, with a 3.32 ERA in 17 starts in his rookie campaign, with 103 strikeouts and 27 walks in 95 innings.
