Another Los Angeles Dodgers player has been added to the National League All-Star roster.

Justin Wrobleski has put together a career year in 2026 after earning a spot in the Dodgers’ deep starting rotation. He initially did not make the NL All-Star team but he will now replace Cincinnati Reds starter Chase Burns on the roster, MLB announced on Saturday.

This is the first All-Star selection of Wrobleski’s three-season career.

He will join teammates Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy, Andy Pages and Yoshinobu Yamamoto as 2026 NL All-Stars. However, Ohtani will not play in the All-Star game as he manages knee irritation.

The All-Star game is set for Tuesday, July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Wrobleski Was Frustrated He Was Initially Left Off All-Star Roster

Last week, manager Dave Roberts revealed the five Dodgers who were selected as All-Stars. He told reporters Wrobleski was upset he was not selected.

Then, three more NL pitchers were added to the roster as replacements but Wrobleski was still not selected. Wrobleski later told reporters he was frustrated he was not picked as an All-Star this season.

“You want to be an All-Star,” Wrobleski said, per The Athletic. “It’s something that, regardless of the year, whenever, it’s always a big deal. It’s something I wanted to do. It’s frustrating to not get that nod.”

Now, Wrobleski will get the opportunity to represent the NL and the Dodgers during All-Star weekend for the first time. If he can continue progressing the way he has this season, there could certainly be more All-Star selections in his future.
