Everybody talks about how well the Los Angeles Dodgers have played over the past few years, and it's impossible to argue against. However, there's also something to be said about how well the Dodgers have played despite all of the injuries they've dealt with.

I know most fans of other teams won't want to hear about anything the Dodgers have gone through, as many think the way they spend money is unfair for others in the league, but it's genuinely fair to bring up how many injuries the Dodgers have dealt with.

The latest injury setback was to left-hander Blake Snell, who will undergo the same surgery that left-hander Tarik Skubal of the Detroit Tigers did.

According to the latest from Bob Nightengale of USA Today, there's hope that he can return within two months.

“Dodgers starter Blake Snell will undergo the same arthroscopic surgery Tuesday to remove loose bodies in his elbow that Tigers ace Tarik Skubal recently underwent, GM [general manager] Brandon Gomes tells LA reporters, with hopes he returns within two months,” Nightengale posted.

There have been some promising signs regarding Skubal's injury, though any injury is never ideal.

However, Skubal is already starting to throw the baseball, according to reports, and he's expected to recover fully before returning to the mound. If that can be the same for Snell, the Dodgers should be in a decent spot come playoff time.
