The Houston Rockets are down 3-1 to the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs despite being the higher seed. Jalen Green, playing in his first postseason, has had a tough series.
While the guard erupted for 38 points in Game 2, Green scored seven points in Game 1, nine points in Game 3 and eight points in Game 4.
After the Rockets lost Game 5, a Houston fan posted a video of him burning a Green jersey with the following caption: "I will never support this bum Jalen Green again in my life I promise you!"
Once the post went viral, several Rockets fans responded to "CryLawson," telling the person that burning the Green jersey wasn't right.
"Grow up bro this weird," one fan said.
"You’re lame and weird bro," another fan said.

Green played well for the Rockets during the regular season. He averaged 21.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 42.3% from the field, 35.4% from 3 and 81.3% from the free-throw line.
However, Green is averaging only 15.5 points in the Warriors series while shooting 39.0% from the floor and 31.3% from 3.
Despite Green's struggles, though, many Rockets fans don't believe his jersey deserved to be burned.
"It’s never that deep bro," one fan said.
"Weirdo behavior," another fan said.
"You're a weirdo for this," a third fan said.
The Rockets have to win three games in a row to save their season. They need Green to replicate what he did in Game 2 when he scored 38 points in 35 minutes.
Game 5 between the Rockets and Warriors is on Wednesday in Houston.
