Thanks to an active venture into free agency last spring, the Carolina Panthers won't be awarded any extra ammunition for the 2026 NFL Draft.

The NFL announced its compensatory picks for this year's annual calling of names on Monday. And, as expected, the Panthers will come away with zero of the 33 new selections.

Carolina's big dip into 2025's free-agent pool prevented them from adding any picks to their board. Their haul of signees from last offseason featured running back Rico Dowdle, defensive linemen Tershawn Wharton and Bobby Brown III, outside linebacker Pat Jones II and safety Tre'von Moehrig.

Their collective loss, or lack thereof, through the open market also worked against them in the compensation formula. The Panthers' most notable departures included running back Miles Sanders, tight end Ian Thomas and safeties Xavier Woods and Sam Franklin Jr.

Barring any trades prior to the draft, the Panthers will enter the selection process with seven picks.
