Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lucked out with nice weather for the historic Freedom 250 card at the White House this past June, but some conspiracy theorists are convinced that the government altered the weather to help out UFC CEO, Dana White, and crew.
After all, the event was happening no matter what.
It’s not secret that UFC’s White House takeover two months ago was a smashing success. Whether it was the Americanized fight week, the walkouts, the knockouts, or the 80,000 screaming fans next door, UFC’s Freedom 250 event went down without a hitch (except for one tiny issue). However, none of that would have been possible if the weather didn’t hold out. The Octagon may have been covered by a massive structure known as “The Claw,” but the entire event would have been washed away if the skies opened up.
Luckily, expected bad weather turned into welcomed good weather at the absolute perfect time. An oncoming storm split right before it hit the White House and the event was able to unfold without issue. It worked out so well that some deep divers believe the government actually stepped in and used a military device to alter the weather. The event was at the White House and President Donald Trump is a huge UFC supporter, but the idea of the military disrupting the weather for a UFC event sounds like lunacy.
White was recently asked about the conspiracy during an interview with TMZ Sports and immediately shut it down.

“I can promise you that did not happen,“ said White.
“We thought it was hitting us. The president thought it was hitting us,” he explained. “We weren’t using like the Channel 4 weather guy, right? We had military meteorologists all over this thing and this [meteorologist] was telling us we’re going to get hit.”
“I get how these things happen and how they start, right? There was absolutely no military, you know, right? We thought we were getting hit.”
