UFC 329 ended on a sour note, with the Conor McGregor vs. Max Halloway main event ending in just 69 seconds. McGregor threw a leaping kick just seconds into the bout, which appeared to compromise his knee.
McGregor was never able to regain his footing, and referee Mike Beltran ultimately called an end to the fight.
It was a disappointing end to McGregor’s highly anticipated comeback attempt, and everyone is now searching for answers. How did it all go so wrong? Was McGregor injured before walking to the cage?
