Conor McGregor's return to the octagon came with plenty of intrigue. However, once the co-main event at UFC 329 officially got underway, things quickly went south in his fight with Max Holloway. After the very first kick to begin the fight, an attempt that missed from McGregor, he appeared to land awkwardly on his right leg and suffered what appeared to be a knee injury.

Almost immediately after the action got underway, it became apparent that McGregor wouldn't be able to continue. Here's a look at the lone clip of the extremely short fight between McGregor and Holloway.

Holloway won the fight by TKO just seconds into the action, and as you can see from the second clip, of only two from the fight, after the restart, McGregor attempted to move forward, and the referee immediately called the fight when he turned around, unable to continue.
