We need to start hitting. Anyone else a nervous wreck?

I usually am when I'm watching sports but this team's clutchness (not sure if that's a word) has taught me to stay calm early in the game.

So much for that. All they have is Braun/Fielder, pitching to one of them in a big situation is crazy.

what a gross, gross, gross mistake by Gibson. You had to walk Fiedler. There will be no come back against their bullpen.

We had a chance in the 1st inning and Williams sending Bloomquest ended it and ended the game.

I give Gibby a pass on this one - he's a rookie manager in his first playoff. It's not the end of the world.

Well that sucked. Here's to hoping Hudson doesn't have his typical 2-4 run 1st inning tomorrow.

Yeah, that was a little weird. I thought it was a foregone conclusion to walk him, especially with Kennedy's pitch count climbing.

Well, walk him or give him nothing to hit. Or - just hit him. :D

Bummer, not the dominating performance by Kennedy I hoped for but he still pitched well enough to win if we could actually hit the ball. It really should have been just 2 runs, like you guys said, pitching to Fielder there was beyond perplexing. I was stunned.

It all goes back to Matt Williams and his over aggressive calls at third though. If we've got runners on the corners in the 1st the game might have been much different, instead we gave the Brewers all the momentum right away.

Oh well, tomorrow is another day. "That's Baseball" right?

I am convinced now that Hudson is a solid #3 in this league. Not terrible, but not a top 2 on the staff. If Bauer can step in and take a hold of the #2 spot next season, this teams win the West again without any other major changes. Adding Parker is just a bonus at this point and puts Collmenter as the future setup guy to Hernandez for 2013 and the 7th inning guy next year.
