Just finished Season 2. That was fun. Still hate Deb and want her to die. But then I was apparently the only person that cheered when Charlie finally died on Lost, but that was because I didn't like his character. I find Tamiami Butcher's acting shrill and lacking any depth. I imagine her finding inspiration by slamming three Red Bull's before going in front of the camera.
The writing on the show is brilliant. Some writing teams can play one or two story lines really well, like a great guitar solo. Season 2 of Dexter was a symphony of melodic and harmonic story lines that converged with power of a great opera. It was Wagner. It was Mussorgsky. It was glorious calamity.
