ATLANTA – Detroit Tigers right-hander Casey Mize appears to be injured.

The 28-year-old walked off the mound, down the dugout steps and into the clubhouse alongside head athletic trainer Ryne Eubanks with one out in the third inning Tuesday, April 28, against the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park.

The specifics of the injury are unknown, but it appeared to be related to his lower body.
