Cincinnati — Detroit Tigers reliever Connor Seabold had to leave the game in the sixth inning Saturday after slipping while delivering a pitch to Cincinnati Reds hitter Nathaniel Lowe.
Seabold entered the game with two on and no outs, with the Tigers trailing 6-1, and gave up a walk and two-run single to Sal Stewart.
Seabold threw two balls to Lowe before slipping. It looked like he twisted his left ankle. He left the game at that point.
Sub-optimal for a Tigers’ bullpen that was taxed before having to cover seven innings Friday night.
