Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad.

I saw this on Sunday and loved it. I was surprised at how many people are in this that I knew. Am I the only one that saw it?

Not unless you purchased a single $56.4 million ticket.:D

The family went to go see it this weekend. It was good. It wasn't great but it was worth the price of admission. My kids loved the little minion guys. My kids were laughing at them the entire film.

It was enjoyable but not great. What separates Pixar movies from movies like Despicable Me is how you can see Despicable trying really hard while Pixar seems like everything just falls into place. There were many instances in this movie where I just cringed because it was just too much. But like I said it was still enjoyable. If you don't have kids just wait to rent but if you have kids you probably already took them to see it.

I read the creators drew on 40s/50s cartoons for inspiration. Haven't seen it but I love that era of animation.
