I'm surprised how many project him in the second round. If we didn't have DJ I would be all for us taking him in the first.

I'll pass! He's not elusive enough to be anything more than average in the NFL IMO.

we watch a lot of SEC football down this way... Henry is a beast of a college RB.... but he is top heavy, long legged, and runs upright most of the time.
not to mention with his height it makes it hard for him to get lost behind his o-line...

IMO he will be a decent third down back in the NFL if he improves his blocking,...he can be effective in the open field. But he is not an every down back, nor even a 15 carries type back for the pros....pass pro,....short yardage at times,...and flares out of the backfield.

Brandon Jacobs is commonly used for a pro comparison.

BTW, this thread was not to say that I want the Cardinals to take Henry, I was simply amazed how big he was.

Just ran an unofficial 4.4 something BTW. Freak.

He ran a 4.52

On the slower side but you know he's not a burner coming in .

I'd take him in rounds 2-4

Just weighed in at the exact same height and weight (off by 1 pound)---and posted the same 40 and vertical jump numbers---as OLB Von Miller. Uncanny!

He runs the same way David Johnson does.

Just saying.

If he stays healthy, can only think he will have a good career in the NFL. Great work ethic, athletic, big and strong. Would love to have him, but that position for us is not high on the list. Would be nice if he fell in our lap somehow, but can't see that happening at all

Different era of FB. Teams generally only threw about 10-15 times a game. The Fins ran the ball all 3 downs most of the time & a few playactions mixed in to Warfield.

Other than the 3 year heyday of those champion teams Csonka wasn't all that special & that was with an incredible offensive line. Guys like him would have difficulty making an NFL roster these days.
