Hey now! We've got a fairly big NBA trade from late Saturday night. With the 2026 NBA trade deadline approaching this week, we had heard De'Andre Hunter and Keon Ellis as part of a lot of trade rumors.

Sure enough, they were both part of a three-team deal, one that's very intriguing for the contender who was part of it. As for the other teams? It's helpful for a variety of reasons, making this one pretty good for all sides.

Let's dive in as we usually do and hand out some trade grades for each team, along with spelling out the reported details of the deal:

Cavaliers, Kings and Bulls trade details

Cavaliers get: G Dennis Schroder, G Keon Ellis

Kings get: F De'Andre Hunter

Bulls get: F Dario Saric, a 2027 second-round pick and a 2029 second-round pick

Cavaliers trade grade

Let's start with Hunter's salary -- he's due $24.9 million next year, so getting him off the books helps with their luxury tax situation and avoiding the dreaded second apron next year. Always good for a team looking to contend.

And as for Ellis, one of the more coveted names at the deadline? It's a great addition -- he can defend and hit threes. Schroder, as usual, is a sparkplug off the bench, and depth scoring can only help.

Getting financial flexibility and adding depth on both ends of the floor? Perfect. GRADE: A

Kings trade grade

It's a lost season in Sacramento, so getting something back for Ellis (who's due for a raise this offseason), Schroder (who has a contract through 2028) and Saric (an expiring) is great.

What they're getting is a player who can hit from deep (although he's only hit 30.8 percent from beyond the arc) and score. Maybe the change of scenery will help, especially on a team that could use the shooting. But this feels like the first of what could be many moves. It's not a bad trade, but in the context of what could turn into a rebuild, this one may look different when the deadline is over, or perhaps if they deal him next year. GRADE: B

Bulls trade grade

They were there to facilitate the move and got an expiring deal and a couple of second-rounders for their troubles. GRADE: B-
