Orlando Pirates claimed a 3-0 victory over AmaZulu in the Dstv Diski Challenge (DDC) at Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammersdale on Saturday.

The log leaders secured the win courtesy of goals from Thuto Sesipi, Simphiwe Masilela, and Joy Manana, to go four points clear of second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns, who have 30 points.

Meanwhile, Masandawana played to a one-all draw with Sekhukhune United as Bennet Mokoena salvaged a point after Ofentse Moeletsi had opened the scoring for Babina Noko.

Elsewhere, Siwelele FC beat TS Galaxy 2-1 to remain third with 26 points, while fourth-placed Stellenbosch FC eased past Polokwane City with a 3-0 scoreline.

Kaizer Chiefs thumped Richards Bay 4-0, thanks to a brace apiece from Imaad Hendricks and Neo Bohloko on Sunday. The defending champions sit fifth with 23 points.

In the middle of the pack, Magesi FC and Marumo Gallants settled for a share of the spoils in a goalless draw.

Orbit College edged Chippa United 1-0 in Eastern Cape, while the KZN derby between Durban City and Golden Arrows ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
