GMs dont make deals like thks unless theyre told to do so by ownership. Stewart made it sound like theyve been trying to dump Aroyos salary and finally found a taker. Giving away top prospects to save money is weak.

Parker good trade he has tommy john surgery
skaggs good trade not even in the rotation for the angels. Skaggs has Tommy John surgery We got Patrick Corbin

Upton was an awful trade from start to finish. This is no longer debatable.

Even if you still disagree with me, what assets of significance do we have from any of these deals? If a team trades so much pitching talent, regardless of whether or not they sustain an injury down the road, it should have received value in return. D-Backs have been fleeced in just about every trade made the past several years.

The was the worst trade ever. I'd rather have a hurt Parker making peanuts than paying Cahill millions to hurt the team.

Drury may be ok, but again, nothing worth bragging about.

Corbin was part of the Haren trade, not one of the trades I had mentioned.

Stites is still an unknown.

Delgado is garbage.

Again, there are no significant pieces on our roster from any of those trades. You don't make trades that force you to make worse deals down the road e.g. Cahill.

Agreed. I think Arroyo's salary totaled over 20 million for this year and next year. It is one thing to dump salary, but another to give away young talent to do it.
