SACRAMENTO, CA — South Carolina women's basketball coach Dawn Staley is wearing a Gucci jacket with a Raven Johnson shirt while coaching in the Sweet 16 of the Women's NCAA Tournament.

The No. 1 seed Gamecocks (33-3) are playing the No. 4 seed Oklahoma (26-7) at the Golden 1 Center (5 p.m. ET, ESPN). It's the 12th straight Sweet 16 game for Staley and South Carolina.

Staley is wearing a Gucci garnet shaded jacket with white Maison Margiela sweatpants, a Raven Johnson shirt from the brand Playa Society and the same garnet/red shoes she's worn the last two March Madness games. Johnson's new custom shirts dropped earlier this week, and sold out almost immediately.

Staley often mixes in designer brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton in with her Gamecocks apparel. Sometimes her clothes for games stray from the team colors of garnet, black and white but she usually stays within that color realm.

When it comes to athletic brands, Staley can only wear Under Armour as it is the school's official uniform supplier. Beginning in July however, the entire school will be wearing Nike, which means Staley can expand her clothing and shoe options to include Nike.

This is likely going to elevate her game day outfits even more, especially considering former star player A'ja Wilson's new custom Nike line of clothing and shoes. Staley has had a long-standing partnership with Nike since her WNBA and Olympic playing days.
