Gotta be the best in football as well as his jump cuts... Can you name anyone better?

AP has a pretty good stiff arm, but I'm not sure if it is better than DJ.

Stiff-arm? Hard to believe someone is better... Jump-Cuts? There are a few that are pretty damn good... Amazingly, D-Angelo Williams can still jump-cut with the best of 'em! Devonta Freeman is also pretty damn good with jump-cuts.
I just hope our line begins to block better for DJ...

I don't remember when the Cards have ever had a RB that can hop and change direction like DJ. It's a thing of beauty to watch.

As for the stiff are, anyone remember when Beany got a 15yrd penalty for doing the same except he grabbed the face mask of the defender while doing it.

NFL yeah I can't think of anybody with a better one. In college Fournette is pretty close he literally throws people aside as he's running, but obviously at a lower level don't think that will work in the NFL.

I watched a bit of the LSU game over the weekend and I realized that I'm so impressed with David Johnson now that Leonard Fournette doesn't look nearly as much like a unicorn as he did a year ago. I think he's just as good as he was late year it's just my impression has changed because of how good DJ is.

Arians said DJ ran the wrong route 2 plays in a row, which led to Palmer's almost interception & then contributed to Palmer getting sacked on the next play. Apparently, they really wanted to reward him with the TD after that long 57 yd catch & run.

Beanie was an angry stiff-arming RB - loved watching him punish people, including our OLine if they didn't get out of his way.

why arians always tend to defend palmer even when he makes erratic plays
i mean , he is a well grown person, he doesnt need that or maybe he knows palmer has some mental weakness and he may fear he can lose confidence

I think he blames him when it's his fault.

As I said on the game thread, DJ is a complete phenom, but he's a young guy and he still makes mistakes. It was good to see Palmer get on him for that near INT, if that's a closer game and that ball is picked off it's a huge deal. Dj has a chance to be the best all around RB in the NFL, the more he learns from his mistakes the better.

I agree with Beanie could've been like DJ, although probably not as fast, before all the injuries too their toll.

No way Beanie had the vision, speed, cutting, or receiving ability of DJ..... and I liked Beanie.

Beanie's stiff arm was nasty, no doubt about that. DJ's is good but I would give the nod to BW, that was his go to move.

Even a healthy Beanie could only dream about that comparison. Was never a passing game threat and his running style wasn't in the same galaxy as DJ's. Didn't have that ability to make guys miss one on one (other than running them over/stiff arming them) and got taken down by weak lower body contact more than any big back I've seen. David's a freak.

Not even remotely close as a receiver but he was similar in size/speed combo. I'm going pre-injury. Post injury, he's not in DJ's class at all.

That video pisses me off. Beanie was nowhere near the player in the NFL.

Yes I have heard BA blame Palmer many times.

Also they said on the radio that Palmer and BA have a good cop bad cop thing going with DJ. Carson playing the role of 'good cop'

David Johnson is tough enough to not get his butt hurt from BA saying he messed up.

I like Beanie but he never had the balance and ability to stay on his feet after initial contact that DJ has. DJ is in an entirely separate stratosphere then Beanie and Beanie was worthy of where he was drafted.

Beanie was a great runner, but never healthy and useless in the passing game.
