We have a new mock draft! This one is the latest from NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah, his second of the year.

The first pick might never change for any mock draft, as the Las Vegas Raiders have the first overall pick, need a quarterback and the best quarterback is Indiana's Fernando Mendoza.

So the draft will really begin with the second pick, owned by the New York Jets. In Jeremiah's new projections, he has them taking Texas Tech pass rusher David Bailey. And that leads to the Arizona Cardinals, who have the third overall pick.

Who is their selection, and does it make sense?

Round 1, pick No. 3: Miami OT Francis Mauigoa

Mauigoa plugs in at right tackle and upgrades an offensive line in desperate need of help.

The Cardinals could address four of the five starting positions on the offensive line this offseason. Only left tackle is certain with Paris Johnson. The interior positions might be filled by guys still on the roster, but right tackle is a big question mark, as both Jonah Williams and Kelvin Beachum are set to be free agents.

Mauigoa makes perfect sense, but we must note that it would stray from the Cardinals' drafting trends over three years. Under general manager Monti Ossenfort in three years, they have not selected a player outside the Big Ten or SEC in Rounds 1 or 2.

So taking a player out of Miami would be a new thing.

That said, with two new coaches incoming from Miami (running backs coach Matt Merritt and cornerbacks coach Zac Etheridge), taking a Miami player shouldn't be a stretch, especially as good as Mauigoa should be and considering the big hole at right tackle the Cardinals have.

However, with the Cardinals' habit of taking players out of Ohio State, watch for Buckeyes linebacker/EDGE Arvell Reese. His dynamic upside and versatility could put him at the top of their board.
