It’s obvious that K1 muscled up during the offseason. I really believe that the extra muscle has affected his accuracy. I was a tremendous pure shooter back in my high school & college days. Then I spent a summer changing my body with more muscle. I had my worst shooting year that winter. It took me another season to regain it. The extra muscle has helped his run game, but just wondering if it’s negatively affected his passing game. It’s fixable though. Murray has ALWAYS been ridiculously accurate. Time to smooth out those muscles. Very easy to do.

You may be right but his muscles aren’t causing him to not see wide open wide receivers all over the field that he just isn’t seeing

Russell Wilson had trouble seeing open Wrs for years (on non scrambles).

Kyler's gotta just start making the gimmes again.

There's already a thread on this ;)

I will say yes its easy to do...but its important for Kyler and Kliff to know what is the issue (or potential issue) going forward to fix it.

that’s great In theory. But KM isn’t Russell Wilson who is supremely accurate while on the move or can throw an accurate ball with imperfect footwork. KM is showing regularly that is an issue with him.

I'd argue that Kyler as a rookie was ahead of young Russ in terms of throwing from the pocket last year though.

Could even make the case 2nd year Kyler is still ahead of a young Russ in terms of overall throwing from the pocket.

To your point...Russ seemed to have an absurd ability to always complete passes on the run. Just saying thats what he lived off of the 1st few years in the league.

I’m not as worried about what he may not be seeing at this stage in his game. That’s more a result of a small sample of college reps & no preseason in only his 2nd season in the NFL. It’s the accuracy that’s more concerning because he’s NEVER been inaccurate. Not ever. To me, it looks more like his release isn’t as smooth & effortless as it has been in the past. Those muscles need to be smoothed out. This happens often is certain sports. It can be easily fixed. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cardinal trainers are already on this.

Before anybody freaks out about Kyler go and google Russell Wilson’s 10 worse games. You will find he’s had some god awful games and some of them the Seahawks actually won.
I love the fact we scored 38 points on a night where Kyler wasn’t his best.
