The Stanley Cup Final has not disappointed. The Golden Knights have the series lead again, but almost blew a 4-0 lead last night on home ice.
The scouting combine ended yesterday, and we are getting into the early depths of the Boston Bruins offseason. There are some trade chips, rumors, and targets this summer, and there are also report cards to take a look at. On Sunday morning, a nine-year Bruin announced his retirement.
The Vezina Trophy was awarded yesterday, and Jeremy Swayman finished third.
Elsewhere around the league, more talk about Dylan Larkin, the hottest name on the trade market, other trade talk, and some free agency talk.

Boston Bruins
VEZINA: Jeremy Swayman finished third in Vezina Trophy voting. He was 68 points behind Andrei Vasilevskiy. The Bruins goaltender went 31-18-4 with a 2.71 GAA and a .908 SV%; his 31 wins were a career-high.
Chris Johnston (via ): Here are the final voting totals for the Vezina Trophy (5-3-1).
LUCIC: Milan Lucic announced his retirement after 17 seasons in the NHL. He played in 1,177 NHL games with 586 points (233-353–586) and won the 2011 Stanley Cup.

Carolina Hockey Now: What a game. Mitch Marner scored a natural hat trick, and the Golden Knights went up 4-0. The game looked over. It wasn’t. The Hurricanes scored four times in the third period, and they forced overtime.
NHL (video via YouTube): Shea Theodore scored the double overtime winner for Vegas, putting them up 2-1 in the series.
Game 4 is Tuesday.

Detroit Hockey Now: Maybe it was the taste of Olympic gold, or conversations with his Olympic teammates. We might not know what changed for Dylan Larkin, but Bob Duff takes a look at what it could be.
Philly Hockey Now: Dylan Larkin, again. What would the trade cost look like? We know the fit is there for a lot of teams, including Boston, but he has control over where he goes. Will James looks at what a Larkin trade would cost the Flyers.
New Jersey Hockey Now: With the news of the botched Matthew Knies trade, James Nichols writes that the Devils can make a better offer. The Devils have the pieces; Montreal offered one high-upside prospect, another prospect, and two first-round picks.
Florida Hockey Now: AJ Greer is likely to hit free agency, and he is going to command a payday. The former Bruin had a career season, and it could not have been at a better time. Greer had some time in a top-six role this season, and he took full advantage of it.
Sportsnet: The NCAA modified their plan and removed high school graduation as the base to start an athlete’s five-year eligibility. The clock starts at college enrollment or the academic year after their 19th birthday, whichever comes first.
NHL (video via YouTube): The NHL/Tampa Bay Lightning surprised Andrei Vasilevskiy with the Vezina Trophy yesterday, planting it in the goaltender’s car and conducting a K-9 search.
A very interesting approach to the awards, to say the least.
