Heard that Boley is going to Arizona State per reports in Kentucky.

Redshirt freshmen at Kentucky, started 9 games, showed flashes but inconsistent.

Looks like he can make all the throws in the pocket and on the run, good pocket presence, can run, but prone to INTs. Hopefully the INTs will decrease with experience. Can see why they like him. Not a big name that the big programs want because he's not close to a finished product, but went against SEC opponents and did alright. Probably won't be as expensive in NIL as well.

When Cutter Boley announced he would enter the transfer portal on Thursday, Arizona State was immediately tabbed as a school to watch. That talk has only heated up. On3’s Pete Nakos and Steve Wiltfong both logged expert predictions in the Recruiting Prediction Machine for Arizona State to land Boley, who will have three seasons of eligibility remaining. Other schools reportedly in the mix include North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Nebraska.

With Leavitt leaving, Boley would have a starting role in Tempe. Jeff Sims, who started the final five games of the season after Leavitt’s injury, is out of eligibility. Boley showed promise in his second season at Kentucky, passing for 2,160 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, earning All-SEC Freshman Team honors.

I'm guessing they still grab a kid who's got just 1 year of eligibility left and then allow Borley to develop to take over later.

Some more information on potential Kentucky portal transfer Cutter Boley, an ASU quarterback target.

ASU could possibly add 4-6 starters at other positions with the money difference.

It would be nice if Dyer could push whoever they bring in. I imagine Fette will redshirt unless he really shows out in the spring.

I'm a season ticket holder for Kentucky football, I watched Cutter Boley in every game this season. He can make all the throws, has a hell of an arm, however, he doesn't read defenses & process things fast enough, because of this, he holds the ball too long & takes sacks. Now, could things change for him at ASU, with a better OL, better WR & better coaching, he could look even better. Bush Hamdan called the plays at Kentucky & he makes Drew Petzing look like a genius lol, yes, I'm also an Arizona Cardinal fan from Kentucky. Sam Leavitt is here as I type on his visit to Kentucky in Lexington, he's listed as the #1 QB in the portal, what are the pros & cons with him? I know Wolf & Luke always hyped him up.

He should start. Heard that he and Kenny had a history. Kenny was recruiting him when he was still in Oregon...

It would be pretty ironic if ASU and Kentucky just ended up swapping starting QBs.

Just checking out some highlights, the dude definitely has a live arm. I like the height and he seems to be comfy throwing from the pocket but can run when he needs to. Definitely have to cut down on those INTs though.

Now go get him his own Colorado transfer receiver.
