The Cubs took the field Saturday afternoon with only a 21.3 percent chance of making the postseason. Just five days earlier (after Monday's win), the Cubs had a 76.7 percent chance of October baseball. The Cubs are now 6 games back in the division and 3 games out of the final playoff spot in the National League with only seven contests remaining.
