Crystal Palace reach agreement on personal terms with Angers striker Sidiki Chérif

According to a report from Fabrice Hawkins, Crystal Palace have reached an agreement on personal terms with Angers striker Sidiki Chérif (19) ahead of a potential move during the winter transfer window. The Premier League club are now confident of reaching an agreement with the Ligue 1 club and completing a deal to sign the 19-year-old.

Whilst the East London club are confident of securing the Frenchman’s services, they are not the only club interested in signing him. Paris FC have also expressed an interest in signing the Angers forward during the January transfer window. However, the French capital club have now pulled out of the race for the striker, Foot Mercato reports.

Crystal Palace set to pay €25m for Chérif

If the Premier League club do agree a deal to sign the France youth international, he would become the most expensive sale in Le SCO’s history. The Pays de Loire outfit are commanding a fee in the region of €25m for the teenager’s services.
