COYOTES SCORE THREE THIRD PERIOD GOALS - BEAT KINGS 3-2

The Coyotes scored three third period goals in a span of just over nine minutes of play to erase a 1-0 deficit and take a 3-1 lead._ Chris Gratton started the rally with his first goal of the preseason at 6:05 of the third perod._ Six minutes later,_Landon Wilson knocked home a Brad Ference_rebound to give Phoenix a 2-1 lead._ At 15:22 of the_third period, Branko Radivojevic put his head down and went hard to the front of the net and slid a shot past Kings goaltender Milan Hnilicka._



The two teams played a scoreless second period with the Kings outshooting the Coyotes 11-8._ At 12:36 of the second period, each team made a goaltending change._ Zac Bierk replaced the starter Sean Burke for the Coyotes and Milan Hnilicka replaced Roman Cechmanek for the Kings.



The Phoenix Coyotes spent the majority of the first period killing off penalties and due to the strong play of goaltender Sean Burke, Phoenix only faces a 1-0 deficit after 20-minutes of play.



The Los Angeles Kings scored the game's first goal when Jon Sim scored on a shorthanded breakaway at 14:46 of the opening period_giving the Kings a 1-0 lead.



The Kings outshot the Coyotes 12-4 in the first period.
