After all the speculation pre-draft about a trade, the Dallas Cowboys have made a move. With top defensive prospects Caleb Downs and Rueben Bain Jr. still on the board, the Cowboys decided to make a move to secure a top talent, trading up with the Miami Dolphins.

Moving up just one spot in the first round, Dallas agreed to send picks 12, 177 (5th), and 180 (5th) to the Dolphins in return for pick 11.

Using the 2026 NFL Trade Value Chart, Dallas sent 1,239 value points and got 1,250 in return. They now hold only one pick in the fifth round.
