LAS VEGAS – The Memphis Grizzlies’ summer comes to an end with a disappointing 94-90 loss to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Summer League championship game.
The game was tied 47-47 at the first-half break, then the Grizzlies went on to outscore the Warriors 29-19 to take a 10-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.
However, a dominant fourth quarter by the Warriors was the deciding factor as they outscored Memphis 28-14.
The Grizzlies finished with four players in double figures as 2026 pick Cameron Boozer and second year guard Cedric Coward both finished with 19 points.
Warriors lottery pick and former Michigan Wolverine Yazel Lendeborg scored 21 points on 9 of 18 shooting with 10 rebounds, and was the named the NBA Summer League MVP.
