New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen has added a plethora of talent to the roster through both free agency and the 2026 NFL draft this offseason.
Schoen acquired an excellent mix of young and veteran talent following a disappointing 2025 season. The Giants also hired former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, and Schoen has reportedly developed an excellent working relationship with Harbaugh over the course of the offseason.
The duo has publicly voiced their excitement about working together this year and for years to come after Schoen recently signed an extension. The length of that new deal has finally been revealed courtesy of long-time NFL insider Gary Myers.
Schoen’s new contract drew some mixed reviews from the fanbase. Giants fans have questioned many of Schoen’s past moves, but the general manager is now set to collaborate with Harbaugh for years to come.
Harbaugh is under contract as the Giants’ head coach through the next five seasons. Both Schoen and Harbaugh will play essential roles in the organization’s success over the next few years, and the duo will officially be working together in New York for at least the next four seasons.
