Commitment: Texas lands 2027 three-star 2027 WR Kyron Brown

Texas is absolutely on fire in the 2027 recruiting cycle. After landing four-star defensive lineman Tyler Alexander on Tuesday morning, they have now also gotten a commitment from three-star wide receiver Kyron Brown per On3's Hayes Fawcett.

The Longhorns are up to 18 commitments for the cycle. Brown joins an extremely talent group of recievers which features five-star Easton Royal and four-star Briceson Thrower.

Brown is the No. 796 overall player and the No. 109 wide receiver per Rivals industry rankings. In the state of Texas, he's the No. 97 prospect.

He's coming off a productive junior season at Palo Duro High School in Amarillo, Texas. He produced 37 receptions for 637 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 17.2 yards per catch. Brown also had a 63-yard touchdown run.

With Brown committed, Texas can continue their efforts to add five-star wide receiver Monshun Sales to the mix as well.
