Another former Washington Commanders cornerback has found a new home. On Saturday, Noah Igbinoghene reached an agreement with the Seattle Seahawks. The deal is for one year, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic.

Igbinoghene, a 2020 first-round draft pick of the Miami Dolphins, spent the past two seasons with the Commanders. He appeared in 32 games for Washington, making 12 starts, recording 90 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and 17 passes defensed.

Igbinoghene was an integral part of Washington's secondary in 2024, but took a step back in 2025. After participating in 76% of the Commanders' defensive snaps in 2024, Igbinoghene played in only 37%.

The Seahawks have agreed to terms with cornerback Noah Igbinoghene on a 1-year deal, I’m told.

Noah was a 2020 first-round pick of the Dolphins. Spent the last two seasons with Commanders. Will compete in Seattle’s CB room and provide inside-outside versatility.

After spending three seasons with the Dolphins, Igbinoghene played for the Dallas Cowboys in 2023 and followed Dan Quinn to Washington in 2024. The 2024 season was the most he's ever played on defense, totaling 818 snaps. The 373 snaps he played last season were the second-most he's ever played on defense.

Part of his reduced playing time in 2025 was due to the presence of veteran Jonathan Jones. Jones also departed Washington over the weekend, agreeing to a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Commanders signed cornerback Amik Robertson in the early hours of free agency.
