Washington Commanders offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. is already a fan favorite. Washington's first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft was in town Friday to meet the media and see his new home. Conerly brought his family with him and interviewed with Washington's in-house television show, featuring former players Brian Mitchell, Santana Moss, Fred Smoot and Logan Paulsen.
Conerly returned home, but made a change to his social media profile. The offensive tackle's profile description says the following: "Offensive Lineman for the Commanders."
That's not the best part.

Not only does Conerly already understand the historical significance of The Hogs, but he's embracing it. He certainly sounded like a young man who was thrilled to be in Washington, and changing his social media to reflect his new team will make fans happy. We live in different times, where athletes use their profile descriptions for booking or media appearances, not to mention which team they play for.
It won't be long before Conerly becomes one of the Commanders' most popular young players.
