The Washington Commanders have begun their rookie mini-camp with the 2025 draft class hitting the classroom and the field in preparation to begin their journey.
With Dan Quinn and the franchise making a big splash last season, more moves were made to help the roster bulk up and what they hope will be another deep playoff run.
One such move was to draft left tackle Josh Conerly Jr. to help fix Jayden Daniels' sack problems.
With mini-camp beginning, the first-rounder from Oregon made his intentions rather clear.
"Really just get out here and work," Conerly Jr. said. "Smaller group of guys, so get to know them as best as I can and then obviously just take all the coaching that I can, absorb that, and put it into my play."

That is all Quinn and the coaching staff can ask for from their rookie class.
Come in ready to work, learn from the coaching staff, and get better each day.
For Conerly Jr, it won't just be the coaching staff he can learn from, with five-time Pro Bowl tackle Laremy Tunsil being signed via trade this offseason to be the starter.
That is quite a player to learn from, and in Conerly Jr.'s case, he is going to use all of the offseason workouts to better himself as a player and be a valuable member of the offensive line, whether that's as a starter or as a depth piece.
Rookie mini-camp is where NFL careers begin, and for Conerly Jr., he's determined to make the most of it.
