LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – Columbiana held off Lisbon 79-75 in an Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference boys basketball thriller on Friday night.
The game was televised live as the WKBN High School Basketball Game of the Week.
The Clippers, who have now won seven straight games, take over sole possession of first place in the conference standings.
Senator Johnson and Cooper Brown led the Clippers with 24 points apiece in the win. Hunter Davanzo added 14 points in the victory.
Lisbon’s A.J. Ramgeet led all scorers with 40 points in the setback. Blaine Barnes tallied 15 points, while Aiden Myers finished with 10.
With the win, Columbiana improves to 14-2 overall and 10-1 in EOAC action. The Clippers will host Western Reserve on Saturday.
Lisbon drops to 11-4 overall, and 9-2 in league play. The Blue Devils will host Valley Christian on Monday.
