Colts NFL draft: Defensive end results from 2026 NFL combine

On Thursday of the NFL combine, the defensive ends were one of the position groups to go through the on-field testing portion of the event. This is arguably the biggest need that the Indianapolis Colts have this offseason.

Looking at the current depth chart, this position group is very thin, with Paye, Samson Ebukam, and Tyquan Lewis all free agents.

In addition to that, more pass-rush production is needed. The Colts ranked 30th in ESPN's pass-block win rate metric last season.

Addressing the front seven will be a priority for the Colts this offseason.

"The draft we think it's good on the defensive side of the football, especially in the front seven," GM Chris Ballard said at the NFL combine. "But it's a definite area that we need to address."
