On the first day the spring transfer portal opened, the Buffs were already busy. Three Colorado players entered the portal, and some visits were even scheduled.

Deion Sanders and company set up a visit with Illinois State cornerback transfer Teon Parks. Parks is one of the top FCS cornerbacks in the transfer portal after a successful season with the Redbirds in 2024.

Parks racked up 45 tackles, 11 pass breakups, one forced fumble and an interception. Several Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC schools have expressed interest, according to 247Sports.

Colorado seems fairly set at the cornerback position with DJ McKinney, Colton Hood, Preston Hodge and RJ Johnson, but perhaps the team is looking for some added experience.

If Parks were to join the Buffs, he would be Colorado's third addition this spring following wide receiver Sincere Brown and offensive lineman Xavier Hill.
