Yeah, Booker's easily figured out as the PG by good teams and he should more focus on playing SG, let Beal and EG ininiate the offense more. In the long run, we need more cuts and screens to accomplement our SG-turned-PG plays. And, without defense like Okogie's, it's hard to win vs top teams.

Not sure why we went back to this lineup that was getting killed on defense all night, and quickly watched the lead jump back to 13.

Giving up 130 points in a game usually isn’t a recipe for success.

Good teams will continue to target the defensive coverage we play with Nurk. Bol is no defensive juggernaut but the simple fact that he is mobile, doesn’t fumble everything, and is not lumber on both ends of the court shows how much of a negative Nurk can be when we play good teams and coaches who strategize.
Book finally turned it up and focused. I didn’t see red face Book which means he’s letting his emotions force things. He was composed in the second half. Glad he got it going.

Having KD would have made this a different game can’t continually double Book if KD is on the floor or they will pay dearly. We just got off to a horrendous shooting first half! Can’t continue to get off to horrible starts then waste tons of energy in comebacks. But honestly with KD out didn’t expect us to be close with them shooting 3s the way they did! Guess Bones Hyland is relegated to being a bench clown at this point lol wow!
I'm actually not too disappointed by the expected loss. We should now know our problems better and try to prepare better.
On O, it's obvious that Booker should not be the designated "PG" with too much ball handling duty. Good team figured him out and he cannot deal with it properly while wasting energy. Beal and Gordon should take on more of this task, depending on what opponents give us. For all that, we need more and better screens and cuts with quicker move of the ball and/or ballhandlers' decisions.
On D, well we really need Okogie better integrated on O, he can be the game changer just by his D smarts and physical gift. His block on Zubac and Harden, and all the disruptions to their offensive flow.

All in all, Vogel seems to be flexible and that's good sign for a still hopeful season.
