The Los Angeles Clippers sent their series with the Denver Nuggets to a Game 7 with a big Game 6 win on Thursday night in Los Angeles, signaling the rest of the league that their time in the limelight is not over yet.
Former number one overall pick Ben Simmons' career has rebounded in LA with coach Tyronn Lue's team, culminating in playoff appearances in recent games.
Simmons took part in Game 5 against the Nuggets but did not play in Thursday night's game.
Instead, Simmons took center stage in an entirely unexpected way as he was summarily roasted by the NBA on TNT crew during Shaquille O'Neal's 'Shaqtin' a Fool' segment.

Simmons' recent airball caught the attention of the crew as he was ranked number two on O'Neal's latest 'Shaqtin' list of player gaffes and mistakes.
"It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a Ben Simmons jumper," O'Neal said as he mocked Simmons' latest way-off miss from the field.
"That used to be his money shot," host Kenny Smith chimed in as the crew took in the Simmons mistake.
The Clippers-Nuggets series' final game is scheduled for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Denver.
