• Browns: Will team come to regret this contract extension? (Thomas Moore) – “The Cleveland Browns traded defensive end Myles Garrett on June 1, which almost immediately kicked off a wave of speculation about what would come next, with cornerback Denzel Ward being a prime target. But the Browns had other ideas.”

• Has Deshaun Watson taken the lead in Browns’ QB competition? Saturday’s practice might be a clue (The Athletic) – “For the first time in Cleveland Browns training camp, there’s been a change in the quarterback order. Deshaun Watson was first up with the No. 1 offense for the second straight day Saturday and ran exclusively with the starters.
