Thank goodness, they didn't hire Hue Jackson. I do like this move. He is 65 yrs and not going to want to be a HC. If they do well, you don't have to worry about him leaving. He has worked with both Farve and Rodgers. He can mentor KK. It is an excellent move.

It seems like Clement will be a conduit for Kingsbury in the passing game.

They still need a DL coach and also assistant position coaches. Also think they need a strength and conditioning coach. Not sure about that.

Lots of experience on the offensive coaching staff with the only exception being the WR coach.

Defensive staff has a bunch of experience too.

So the team needs a DL coach and strength & conditioning...right? Aside from assistants to the position coaches anyway.

Strength and conditioning coach? That guy was here when Arians was here, did we get rid of him?

When I heard Clements' background on the radio, it seemed like a great fit. Very experienced, worked with big time QBs in Green Bay, and isn't the type of guy who will come in with his own agenda/looking to usurp Kliff.

Clements coached Elvis Grbac, Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddux to the Pro Bowl. I think he'll be fine with Rosen.

I hadn’t seen any word of him being retained so I assumed he was gone. I thought Arians had Lott his first year and replaced him with Buddy Morris, could be wrong.

I get what you are saying but I think it will be more than just a qb coach. He will be involved in the game plan and really be a mentor to KK. Really like this move.

No mentor. Kliff is a grown up man. No babysitter needed.

Just guessing: Gotta wonder about a Clements - Rodgers - Rosen connection with Aaron R (who is said to have an informal mentor-like tie with Josh) putting in a good word for Clements.
