The PGA Tour is back in Texas for the 2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
It's a light field, with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler highlighting it. But with a signature event next week and the PGA Championship lurking, many of the world's best are taking a week off in preparation for another major championship. However, TPC Craig Ranch will welcome a few notables, like defending champion Taylor Pendrith, Jordan Spieth and others.
There's also a big purse up for grabs, one of the largest outside of the majors and signature events of the entire season.
The purse is $9.9 million, up from $9 million last year.
The winner will receive $1.782 million, or 18 percent of the total purse.
