Alan Foster the guy suing Lavar Ball for embezzling money says in a suit that he loaned Lonzo Ball 130K when he was at UCLA because he wanted better living conditions and better meals. It also says Lonzo sold the UCLA jersey he wore in the loss to Kentucky for 80K. Who would buy a jersey in a game they lost and Lonzo got torched?
If true I would expect penalties, Lonzo would be retroactively ineligible, so vacate the wins. I would think having 2 sons on the team as a player and a coach would also make it much harder to say we had no idea for ex coach Steve Alford.
the jersey in part would depend on timing, Lonzo turned pro with an agent literally days after that loss, but I still doubt that allows him to sell his jersey.
